I am undocumented. Can I still go to college?

Don't give up hope. If you want to attend college, there are several schools that will still offer grants and scholarships of some sort to help cover the cost of tuition even if you do not have a valid social security number. Latino Achievers, an organization that meets after school every other week on Thursdays, has experience helping our students who are undocumented or are Dreamers. They can assist you in navigating the process of applying for these colleges and obtaining money to attend. In addition to helping you find sources of financial assistance for college, they also offer scholarships of their own. Aside from the topics that are covered in the meetings and the scholarships that they offer, extra-curricular activities look good on your college application, so this could be a win-win-win for you! Come by and join us! You won't be sorry!
